Letter to the family

I’m a university student working on receiving a double degree in both Vocal Performance and Business. I enjoy composing and performing music. I also enjoy learning new languages and traveling as well as spending time with children. Being an au pair over the Summer would be an incredible experience!

I spent last Summer working at a day care center and worked with several different age groups. I learned to work with many different young personalities and temperaments. Before working at the daycare, I babysat weekly for several families. Children are such a gift and are fun to work with because their minds view things in very interesting and creative ways. I would be incredibly grateful to be an au pair this Summer.

Experience

I enjoy learning new languages and traveling. Children also bring a unique perspective to the world. They say the funniest things and are quite creative. I spent this past Summer working at a daycare and babysat weekly before that. I had the joy of watching one of the children I babysat take her first steps and helped her older brother to become an avid reader. I also worked as a math tutor for a student who was struggling at the beginning of the year and was an “A” student by the end of the year. Watching the incredible growth in these children has been truly impactful.
