Letter to the family

Dear future family,
I'm looking forward to come into your family and I want to tell you something about me. My name is Lenka and I'm 24 years old. I live in a small town in the Czech Republic. I study pharmacy at Charles University and I'm in the final year. I have two younger siblings.
Why I want to work as an au-pair? Primarily I would like to improve my English. I also would like to be abroad for a while after my studies. I think that´s being an au-pair is the best way for me, because I'm used to be with children.
When I was 8 years old, my sister was born. So when my parents needed to go somewhere, I looked after my sister (and sometimes after my brother, who is two years younger than me ;) ). Now I help a family 1 to 2 times a week with the children and some cleaning. They have four children (2, 6, 8, 12 years old). In the summer I usually help on summer camp near our town. That´s the reason, why I can say that I have looked after all age category.

Experience

I was working as an au-pair 5 years ago. I was in Watford in the UK for one year. I came after my high school there. I helped the host mum with two children and the dog. They were 12 and 14 years old at that time. During days I was cleaning the house and went for a walk with the dog. Then I cooked a dinner and was with the children. During the stay, my host mum burst her Achilles tendon so I had to also took care of her.
I really enjoyed working as au-pair. I met lovely people, explored the country and I have so many experiences from there. So that's the reason why I want to work as au-pair again.
