Dear Host Family,
I am excited to introduce myself as a candidate to become your next Au Pair! My name is Bridget and I am 23 years old. I am from the United States and have always lived here; however my goal is to move to Europe! I currently reside in Buffalo, New york; a small city in Upstate NY. Fun Fact: I’m also an Irish Dual-Citizen since my Dad is from Ireland!
I’m excited for this new adventure and opportunity! My passion for traveling, teaching, and learning about cultures has been a big part of my life; I am eager to continue these passions while being an Au Pair.
I graduated from Canisius University in 2023, with a degree in Childhood Education, and Teaching English as a Second Language. Since graduating I have spent time as a fourth grade teacher, where I taught English, Science, Math, and Social Studies. I also spent time as an English teacher to Non-Native English speakers. I have experience working with diverse backgrounds and caring for kids of all ages, including babysitting for 10 years for my cousins, working at a daycare for 2 years, and professionally teaching. I consider myself hardworking, patient, organized, kind, and enthusiastic.
I am passionate about Au Pair work not only because I love working with kids, but I also love traveling and learning about new cultures. I am eager to learn more languages, discover new traditions, and share my own culture with your family!
In my free-time I love to read, listen to music, and do art! My favorite things to do are art and sit in nature! I also love doing yoga, and being around my friends and family! Music and art are a big part of my life, and I’d be happy to share these interests with your family!
