Experience

I've been a nannie at a christian orphanage in Peru, and it's been an incredible experience because i've learn lot about the amazing kids. I would love to be an au pair because i feel so comfortable around the kids, i love they way i can connect to them and see them grow and achieve their goals!! Seeing a little kid do amazing things is just awesome because you can see God's gracious hands in their lives plus see how bless they are!! That’s part of the reason I want to become an au pair; the other part is I want to master my English plus know other cultures!

My experience with kids started when I was 18 years old, I worked at a Christian school, I was an English and religion teacher for the elementary kids, I used to prepare myself with a bunch of fun activities like, games, videos and story times for the kids to help them learn faster. Then, when I turned 20, I started to work at a Christian orphanage. There’s a lot of kids of different ages; the range is 3 to 17 years old. What I basically I do is being a mom, I have to prepare their foods, help them get ready for school, help them with homework, bath the little ones, take them to the playground, play with them, take them to church, take them to the doctor, and many things, but I love my job because every day I can see God gracious hands in their lives and mine. I’m so thankful for the opportunity he has given me to work in a place with amazing children!!
