Letter to the family

Hi, My names Roisin (Ro-Sheen) I’m 20 years old and live in Belfast, Ireland!
I speak fluently in English only, but plan on learning other languages!
After I finished my secondary school education in 2022 I took up more hours in my part time job of being a waitress in a family friendly pizza restaurant. I quickly became key holder and really enjoyed my job with keeping a level of cleanliness as I find it satisfying and interacting with family’s. I was then promoted to supervisor and have been a supervisor since January 2023.
I am looking for a change in career and would love to travel.
I am a caring and respectful person and put all my effort into my work.
I grew up in a close knit family with my 3 sisters and parents. I have a strong work ethic from watching my parent’s work and understand the importance of a positive environment.
My sister who is 2 years older than me is disabled. She has Down syndrome and autism. Growing up being a young career taught me patience and a different perspective of life.
My eldest sister has a son (my nephew) who is 7. I absolutely adore him and he has really inspired me to do this. He absolutely loves when I babysit him and I find it so rewarding.

Experience

Firstly I love to travel, I have been to many place across Europe with my friends,family and partner. Traveling is the best way I think for people to develop and even get to know themselves. You’ll find yourself being in more independent situations and improving skills and the amount of opportunities is truly endless. I love getting to know new people and experiencing a different life to what I have back home in Ireland.
I am an active and motivated person and enjoy being on my feet. In all situations I’m able to remain level headed and patient. I am very open-minded and adaptable to changes in situations because sometimes nothing ever goes to plan and I think this is a very important skill to have to be a good au pair as remaining as positive as possible will just change the entire situation.
I love to help people and find it so rewarding. Being an au -pair would give me the chance to have a home away from home and I know if I do get this opportunity it will be an experience I never forget.
