Throughout my life I have always been surrounded by children. My father and step mother are both teachers, and my mother is a Social Worker. Looking after children has always been much more fun for me than a regular job because I believe that children help others see the world in a different and better way. In my youth my mother brought over 10 different foster children into our home as they needed help and safety. Each and every one of them changed mom life for the better, and helped shape me to the person I am today.
Being an Au Pair abroad is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time now. I have always loved travelling and have always wanted to learn about different countries and cultures, especially while having the ability to see it through the perspective of a child. I truly believe it would be a life changing opportunity.
