Addison (22 / Ms. ), American, Teacher living in USA looking for Au Pair & Live-in Tutor job in France, Spain, Sweden, Germany & Greece for 6-12 Months

My name is Addison and I am from Wisconsin, USA! I grew up in a very small town on the border of Minnesota, which means I had many opportunities to try new things during my education. Some examples include theater, music/band, volleyball, softball, karate, football statistician, and volunteer work. I tried to do anything and everything that was offered to us at the time. I graduated valedictorian in my class of 13 and my favorite subjects in school include math and science. I absolutely love to learn and to spread knowledge, so that led to me getting my teaching certificate from the University of Minnesota, Mankato in elementary education. I graduate in the Spring of 2024! My future aspiration is to become a 1st grade teacher.
I would love to be an Au Pair or Live-in Tutor because I am looking for an opportunity to gain cultural insight into another place and for an opportunity to make a lifelong connection with another family. I am currently in Sweden for a study abroad experience to work in the schools, and it has been so amazing. I love learning about the country and the language. My hope is that an Au Pair experience will teach me a lot as well!
I believe I should be hosted because I care deeply about the people around me and enjoy working with people. I have working in childcare for many years. Some of my jobs working with children include tutoring, babysitting, working as a camp counselor, student teaching, substitute teaching, coaching baseball, and teaching summer school. I have been working with kids since I have been 12. I also have my teaching license in the state of Minnesota, so I am qualified to teach subjects including, but not limited to, reading, phonics, writing, math, science, and social studies.
