My name is Karla, I'm from Mexico, and I'm a soon-to-be 23-year-old. I’m currently about to begin the final semester of my Bachelor's degree in Psychology (which is my true passion) and I plan to pursue a Master's in Counselling Psychology.

I started working as a nanny when I was 16 and still do it occasionally, because no matter how busy school gets, spending time with kids always warms my heart. Over the years, I've cared for children ranging from 4 months to 9 years old. As part of my studies, I've also acquired experience in child development, child psychology, positive discipline, and inclusion.

I'm an adventurous and curious person by nature. I love being in natural environments, collecting houseplants, reading, watching a good show, cooking, hiking, camping, bouldering, going to the gym, traveling, and having deep conversations over a cup of coffee.

Since I'm finishing my degree soon and planning to begin my M.Ed. in Fall 2026, I'm looking for a stay that fits somewhere between those dates. I'd be more than happy to support your family and build a meaningful connection with your children and all of you.

I speak both Spanish (native) and English fluently and would also love to learn your language and culture while sharing mine.
