Hi everyone!

My name is Abigail, (Abi) (18F) and I am looking for a new host family!

I am, naturally, a very flexible and outgoing person with a great love for the outdoors, and anything adventurous. My main goal for becoming an Au Pair is to see the world and immerse myself in new cultures, while making lifelong connections along the way! My style of working with children is mutual respect, I love reading stories and conjuring up new and inventive games, and, as music is such a big part of my life, singing and teaching the kids how to play instruments! I am a qualified rock climbing instructor, so through my work I have encountered children of all ages, and have had positive feedback from children and parents alike regarding my interactive and fun teaching style.

Experience

I have had lots of experience working with large groups of children across all ages through my job as a rock climbing instructor and more recently as an Au-pair, working with 3 young children. It involves creating new, fun, engaging ways for kids to learn new skills in a safe but memorable way! Alongside this, I come from a family of foster careers, so have had lots of one on one experience working with children, again, across all ages, who have been living with us both long term and short term. I feel that the previously mentioned topics make me confident in working with children!
