Hello, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Thea, and I am a helpful, warm and bubbly 21 year old hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, a small city in Northern England, and I would adore the opportunity to get to know you and your family!

As a soon-to-be geography graduate from Lancaster University, I have a great passion for both travel and childcare, and through my schooling, I have had over 100 hours work experience across 6 different primary schools, assisting children (aged 3 - 11) in their learning, whilst supervising them during break times. I really look forward to possibly beginning this Au Pair journey, gaining even more experience working with children as I have ambitions to go into teaching. Furthermore, the opportunity to experience this while integrating myself into a new culture would be fantastic, given my adventurous spirit.

I also take on the responsible caregiving role in my own family, as I am the eldest of 14 cousins on my dad's side of the family! Mostly, though, I look after my little brother Isaac whenever my parents are busy working, whilst taking care of household duties. From my five years of employment history, in waitressing, food service and hospitality, I have developed exceptional interpersonal skills with all kinds of people, though find I am in most my element when working with children, I love laughing and playing with them! I am a quick and adaptive learner, and very eager to throw myself into things, like learning a new language or sport.

When I'm not working or studying, I love to unwind through reading and staying active. I'm a proud member of my university's netball society, and whenever it's sunny, my favorite thing to do is go play badminton in the park. I love being outside, and consider myself to be a generally outgoing and open person, making new friends wherever I go.
