My name is Hazel, a South African girl who has been living in Spain for the past 4 years, primarily in the vibrant city of Barcelona. During my time here, I have immersed myself in the rich culture and diverse experiences that this beautiful country has to offer.

I have a passion for traveling, exploring art galleries and museums, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and indulging in various genres of music. Additionally, I find great joy in working with children. Through my interactions with them, I discover their unique fascinations and learn valuable lessons about myself, such as patience and unconditional love.

In terms of my personality, I am both outgoing and reserved. Once I establish a connection with someone, my bubbly nature shines through, yet I also appreciate moments of solitude. Those close to me often describe me as possessing a good sense of humor, being selfless, protective, funny, and always willing to go the extra mile to help those in need.

Experience

My journey in childcare began in 2016 when I volunteered at a play school in my hometown of Pietermaritzburg, where I cared for children aged 2-5 years old. Building on this foundation, I embarked on a two-year Aupair program in the USA starting in 2017, providing dedicated care for two boys in New Jersey.

In 2020, I further expanded my experience by becoming an English Language Assistant in Spain, where I worked at an elementary school, engaging with children from P3 to 4th ESO. Additionally, I provided part-time care for a 2-year-old, fostering English language development through play and interaction.

As a warm, loving, and caring individual, my primary goal as a nanny/babysitter is to provide unparalleled love and care for your children. I am also committed to supporting your household with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, bed-making, and tidying up play areas for the kid I'll be caring for.

In describing myself, I prioritize honesty, kindness, trustworthiness, reliability, and responsibility. I am dedicated to tailoring daily activities to suit your child's age and interests, while also incorporating input from parents to ensure a nurturing and enriching environment.
