Dear host family,

I am very excited to become an au pair in your family. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Méline and I am 17 years old. I come from France.

Despite my young age, I will only be of age in August, I am a caring, patient and responsible person, and I love spending time with children. I already have experience as a babysitter for several people in my family, looking after children from 0 to 10 years old. I learned to care for them, entertain them and ensure their well-being.

As an au pair, I will be more than just a babysitter. I will be a big sister to your children, help them with their homework, take them to school and after-school activities, and make sure they are safe and happy. I am also able to help with household chores.

I would also like to share my culture with your family and learn from yours. I hope we can exchange our traditions, our recipes and our customs.

I am available to work full-time and am flexible in terms of hours. I would like to stay with your family preferably until June in order to really immerse myself in your daily life. For the purpose of my studies I really need to improve my English.
