Dear au pair

we are a small, German-American family in a somewhat unusual constellation: We are Erik (52) and Dagmar (58) with Lily (7), who is our granddaughter but for whom we have custody. Lily is growing up bilingual (German, English) and we would like to enable her to learn the next foreign language. You should therefore speak Spanish or Italian.

We live in a large house with a garden on the outskirts of Amberg, with 2 dogs and a very shy cat.
The city center with 43,000 inhabitants is 10 minutes away by bike and 3 minutes by car.
Amberg is 60 km north of Regensburg and 60 km east of Nuremberg. The cities are great places to go out and shop. Amberg and Regensburg are known for their great old towns. Of course, Munich, one of the greatest cities in the world, is not far away.

It would be nice to have someone for Lily who is young and can focus on doing things with her. We want Lily to experience the world in a positive way, to have as many great experiences as possible, and you should be a part of these experiences. .
Of course, our "daughter" has priority. We wish for a loving relationship and trust so that Lily can have a young person in her life with whom she can experience activities such as playground, swimming pool, trips and sports activities.

We have prepared two large, sunny rooms for you, which are located on the 1st floor (one level up) and where you have your own small bathroom. The private area offers plenty of space and privacy.
In your free time you can also use a car or a scooter

Our "daughter" is very active and extremely intelligent. Lily's mouth rarely sits still That's why we are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible au pair who will be a part of our family as Lily's 'big sister'.

I was an au pair myself and I know the challenges, but also the advantages.
We would be happy if our child could have this great experience and learn from you!
