Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

My name is Francesca.
I live in Catania, a big city in the south of Italy.
At home we are 5: me (42 years), my husband (46 years), and our children, Stefano (4 years), Giulio (9 years) and Carola (9 years).
I thought hosting an au pair would be perfect and amazing for my family to spend time together, improve our english and learn a bit more of your culture.
We live in Catania, a large city located in Sicily. Catania offers both the sea and the mountains (Etna). We live in the city center, close to major centers of interest. It is also a very lively city with a wonderful climate.
During the weekends we are always together and organize pleasant days, often away from home, even in the company of friends. In the summer on weekends we often go to the beach.

Job Description

Having three children and being busy at work, I would like to have some help in managing the children during the week (Monday-Friday). I would like the children to stay at home with the au pair in the afternoons to do their homework and for the au pair to help me take them to and pick them up from their activities (tennis and English). The mornings and weekends the au pair would always be free and could attend a course in Italian. As for household chores, I don't want to delegate the management of the house in any way but I would like it if the au pair could help me prepare the children and, perhaps, cook something for them and do some small household chores. I have a housekeeper who helps me and who would continue to help me even in the presence of an au pair. Of course I would like her to speak with the children in English so they can learn the language well.

The house is large enough and on two floors. It is an apartment in the city center. The five of us sleep upstairs. The au pair would sleep downstairs and would have her own bathroom available. In our house there is wifi connection.
