Work abroad in Janine's family for 6-12 Months starting from Nov 2023 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 6 - 10 years old in Erfurt, Thuringia Germany

Dear Aupair, my name is Janine and I am 39 years old. I am a mother of two daughters.

I am looking for an aupair for the period November/December 2023 to June 2024 (6th months) and August 2024 to June 2025 (11th months)

My older daughter is 21 and already lives in her own apartment.
My little daughter Hanna still lives at home with me. She is 6 years old and goes to school now.
We live in a condominium on 100 square meters in Erfurt, about 500m from the city center.

I am a single parent and my daughter Hanna sometimes lives with her dad for a few days in a row. That means you would always look after Hanna for 1 1:2 weeks and then you can take several days off at a time. (Thurs early after school until Tuesday afternoon to pick up from school) You can of course use this time to explore Germany or make contacts. Of course, on the weekends (every 2 weeks) when Hanna is at home, you can consider doing something with us as a family or using the time for yourself. During the school holidays there may be more days in a row that you can take off.

Every now and then it would be great if you accompanied Hanna on leisure activities over several days.

I am self-employed and have a pedagogical institute in Erfurt. There I work with families, babies and children. If you are interested, you can also make a lot of connections with other aupairs or families there.

You can attend a language course. I still have to look for a suitable provider.
