Work abroad in Holly's family for 10-12 Months starting from Jan 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 3 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Hamilton, Ontario Canada

Welcome to our busy home! We are always on the go with 3 vivacious girls.
My husband will be taking a travel nurse assignment for a 3 month period and I will be home running two businesses and managing the home and the children. We certainly need some help!
Our older two daughters are in junior and senior kindergarten, they are learning to read and it would be amazing if you can help them with this and also plan activities that are engaging and avoid too much tv time.
We do extracurricular activities which include gymnastics, ballet and swimming. These classes end in June with the school year and recommence in September when school starts again.
As a family, during the summer, we enjoy camping and exploring outdoors. We really only get a few months of nice weather so we do like to get out as much as possible and instill an appreciation for nature into our kids. We do camp in tents, please come with comfortable outdoor gear for inclimate weather. As we are on the Bruce peninsula there is no lack of trails and hiking trails close to us. We are also close to the US boarder and enjoy taking day trips to buffalo from time to time. It would be an asset if you are also able to cross these borders easily with us by car.
We also like to garden and grow our own food and make meals from scratch.
Family pets include: 1large dog who is a retriever mix who is an indoor dog and 2 chickens who live in a small coop in our yard. (You don't have to worry about the chickens I take full responsibility for then) Our dog, meadow, has a lot to say, but is very sweet and loving she enjoys playing Frisbee and taking walks with the family.
We are a very close family and we do go to great lengths to give our girls the best opportunities we can in life to be well equipped for adulthood. A like minded approach would be greatly appreciated in an au pair. We love to share about our cultures and eat delicious food. My husband is Filipino and I am Canadian from British and French descent.

Overall, we are verdy down to earth but also high achieving. We need support while our children are very little with positive adults who are educated and share open world views. We do not adhere to any traditional religions and we answer our children's questions accurately based on their age group comprehension.
