Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We live in a good sized house on private gated land in a beautiful part of Maidenhead, Berkshire called Pinkneys Green (which is a large National Trust common).
There is a great local pub opposite our house, which has a fantastic summer garden. Local shops are a few minutes drive away.
Maidenhead town centre is a 10 min drive, where there are plenty of useful shops and places to eat. There are fast trains (between 17 to 20 minutes) to London Paddington from Maidenhead train station (which is in the town centre) as well as regular Elizabeth line trains into London (direct to Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Liverpool Street etc). We would cover the cost of car parking at the train station should you wish to attend a course in London.
Job Description
We will need our au pair to drive to collect our children from school Monday to Friday 4:30pm (the school is in the village of Cookham, about a 15 minute drive away), bring them home, give them a nutritional meal and help them with homework, bath them ready for bed. My husband and I will be home usually between 6:30-7pm. We would also really appreciate occasional evening babysitting on agreed dates (ideally some weekends).
During summer and other holidays, the collection place will vary because the kids will be in clubs but it will all be within driving distance.
