Hello future Au Pair/Nanny,

My name is Craig, and I am a single parent. I have a 20-year-old daughter, named McKenzie. We live in Mesa, Arizona, a suburb that is part of the larger Phoenix metropolitan area. McKenzie has special needs due to her profound intellectual disability. Developmentally, she is around the age of 5 or 6. Currently, McKenzie goes to school, and she can continue to go to school for one more additional year, or until June of 2025. McKenzie enjoys dolls, books, blocks, colors, dancing and singing, kick ball, basketball, swimming, and many outdoor activities. On our weekends, we love to cook out, swim, go to the movie theatre, and play games. We are a very outgoing family, and we are very easy to get along with. I would like an Au Pair/Nanny for our family so that we can experience and learn about other cultures, while also sharing our culture. Additionally, I would love for our Au Pair/Nanny to feel like she is a member of our family. I would like our Au Pair/Nanny to assist McKenzie with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, and to perform activities and play with her. Also, assistance with light domestic work (such as house cleaning and laundry) and cooking meals would be expected. Finally, I would like our Au Pair/Nanny to provide companionship and conversation for me and to go on walks and outings with McKenzie and me.
