Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We live in Stafford, Virginia which is 35 miles south of Washington DC. We are about 10 miles north of Fredericksburg, a great mid size town with lots to see, especially for history buffs, and great food establishments.
My name is Ed and my wife is Mary Anne. Mary Anne, a retired school teacher and administrator, is looking for someone to spend time with, to run errands, to shop, to visit nearby friends, to go to her ladies monthly school luncheon and to to visit the fitness facility. Mary Anne is not currently driving so the caregiver should be able to drive.
Our home is on 4 acres with a large backyard and a pool which is open mid May through early October.

Job Description

The caregiver will help Mary Anne in daily chores. Mary Anne has some memory issues but no mobility issues. Although Mary Anne can dress and bathe herself, the caregiver will help with her bathing/showering and picking out clothes to wear. The caregiver will be able to assist and dine at times with Mary Anne for breakfast and lunch and perhaps for dinner at times. The caregiver will drive Mary Anne to/from fitness classes and enjoy the fitness facility as a member. The caregiver will help Mary Anne run errands and to visit friends that live nearby. The caregiver will enjoy watching television and engaging in activities and games at the house with Mary Anne. The caregiver will go on walks and bike rides with Mary Anne enjoying the scenic community we live in.

Accommodation

The caregiver will have their own bedroom with private bathroom/shower. The caregiver will have access to the house and be provided a car to utilize to take my wife to run errands and to go to the fitness facility where Mary Anne enjoys near daily group classes like Body Combat and Apex. The caregiver can utilize the car during their free time. We will add the caregiver to our membership so the caregiver can enjoy the fitness facility.
