Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Shiela, 25 years old, currently residing in the Philippines. I am single and studied Office Administration.

I'm writing to convey my sincere interest in working with your family as an au pair. I'm sure I can be a nurturing influence on your children while also contributing to the daily life of your family because I'm passionate about cultural exchange and have experience providing compassionate childcare.

Experience

I am the youngest of three sisters and two brothers in a large family. When I was ten years old, my oldest sister gave birth to his first child, and I occasionally started watching my nephew.

In a short while, my oldest brother and two sisters started their own families. I currently have four nieces and five nephews, ranging in age from two to fifteen. I gained knowledge about changing diapers, preparing meals, putting them to sleep, bathing them, playing with them, picking them up for school, and creating educational materials.

Having had the opportunity to work with children, I am aware of how critical it is to promote an environment that is both stimulating and encouraging for their development.

My previous experiences have allowed me to develop good abilities to communicate and interact with others, as well as a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and understanding.
