Leilani (20 / Ms. ), American, Architect living in USA looking for Au Pair job in Australia, France, Ireland, Italy & Norway for 1-2 Months

Dear host family,
My name is Leilani; I am 20 years old and currently in college in South Carolina for Interior Architecture and Design. I hope to one day design for high-end hotels and commercial buildings around the world, and I would love the opportunity to get a head start on seeing the world by joining your lives for a brief period of time! My hobbies include hiking, reading, art, and—most importantly—cooking and baking! I grew up the eldest of five, with a 6 year gap between my closest sister and a ten year gap between my youngest, so I have been taking care of children for my entire life. If I were to join your family for the summer, I would not only help with household chores, but I would love the opportunity to make cooking and art fun for your children. I love any and all types of animals, so if there are any dogs would love to take them on walks with the children, if allowed. As I said, I grew up the oldest of five, with a pretty big age gap between my siblings and I. With both of my parents working full time, I was usually home taking care of my siblings. My responsibilities started at a young age, I cooked, cleaned, helped with homework, and took care of them in any way that I could. I have also worked at several summer camps, and completed a two week counselor program, although I was unfortunately unable to actually work at a summer camp due to college. I also babysit during college for a family I am close with whenever I have time. I absolutely love kids of all ages, I think that they have so much to offer, and I can’t wait to be a mother myself one day.
