Letter to the family
Given my love for foreign languages and traveling, I was looking for a way to be able to afford living abroad while also getting the full overseas experience, and thought aupairing to be perfect. I've previously babysat many of my cousins when they were little, and offered help to other families when they needed it in exchange for money. I've also helped elementary / middle school kids with their homework, mainly related to the learning of languages. In my experience as a babysitter, I've matured a lot of skills which I find essential when working with kids, such as patience, empathy, kindness and good communication, which I think make me a good babysitter for kids, but also a great friend!
