MERJA (60 / Ms. ), Finnish, Teacher living in Finland looking for Nanny & Granny Au Pair job in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg & Netherlands for 11-24 Months

Hello and greetings from Finland!

I´m a 60-year-old kindergarden & pre-school teacher, gratuated 38 years ago in Helsinki, where I was born, too. I have two adult children, who are studying still some more years in Finland.

I have worked decades as a teacher in different kindergardens (in Helsinki & around the Southern area of the capital), also almost five years as a head teacher - and the last ten years I have worked in primary schools as a school teacher (from 1 to 6 grades). At the moment I work as a pre-school teacher with the 6 and 7 years old children: there are 21 in my group.

My dearest hobby has been running the last 43 years. I go to the gym (group excercises), do yoga and love to ride
a bike, when weather permits. Walking alone in a forest gives energy, too. I love good books, conversations, music, travelling and spending time in our summer house by the river - during the summer.

I have lived two years abroad: in Chicago, 1986-1987, as an au-pair and in Cyprus, year 1988, as a tourist guide. Those years taught me very good English, life and myself overall - plus got a lot experience of different life styles, people and cultures of those countries, habits and the beauty of the lands.

My life is good now: I´m healthy, in a very good physical condition and have balance financially, too.
The time is now. To do something that I like, love and dream.
I love to work with children; to talk, teach, educate, think, listen, sing, laugh, do sport and stop in front of a child.
I´ve worked in every "level" in kindergardens - from the cleaning / kitchen works to take care of everything as a head teacher and taking care of the workers and co-operation with the parents and other connections.

I´m very open, flexible, interested, loyal and professional person with many kinds of people. I can share the knowledge and years of experience I have from/with children; their growth, education, teaching and suppoting with their own paths.

I am a qualified educator, teacher with many kind of experience in Finland plus one year in America.
I can teach music-songs/rhythm, sport, drama and arts and crafts, too.
But mostly, I can support parents with their moments and times with their children from age 1 to 12 years.
