Nicholle (24 / Ms. ), British, Consultant living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair & Live-in Tutor job in China, France, Italy, Spain & Switzerland for 3-6 Months

Hello ~

Following an introduction and encouragement from a friend, I have unexpectedly discovered the position of being an Au-Pair, and it would be a privilege to be yours.

In regards to experiences and skills that you may be looking for in a candidate, I have tutored and worked with children between ages 6-14 for almost two years. When undertaking this position, I placed utmost priority on taking care of how I engage with them, whether it’s communication or through actions.

I exercise patience, especially when conveying different concepts in Maths and English subjects, believing that a teacher’s influence can heavily impact on how a child perceives learning as they grow older.

The subjects I am confident tutoring in are primarily Maths and English, but other areas I can help with include but not limited to: having conversations in English and Mandarin Chinese, reading books in English and book recommendations for various age groups, homework assisting, Kumon Maths (up to Level J), applying to UK universities (personal statement tips, general advice).

Additional hobbies include: chess, photography, acrylic/oil pastel painting, cafe hopping, badminton, reading. I can also make a wide variety of dishes (egg fried rice, udon, miso soup, chickpea curry, shakshuka, kimchi fried rice, pasta with homemade pesto etc), bake cookies/cupcakes and love discovering new recipes.

Through the tutoring experience, I have enjoyed working with children. Paired with a love for travelling and meeting people from all walks of life, it has prompted me to sign up as an Au-Pair.
