Mia (20 / Ms. ), British, Student living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair job in Belgium, France, Luxembourg & Switzerland for 1-3 Months

Why do I want to be an au pair?
I’d love to one day have a job working with children, possibly teaching foreign languages and au pairing would be excellent work experience, combining both childcare and speaking French.
But it’d be really great to get to know some new people, exchange our cultures and share some wonderful memories with them.

Experience with Children:
Unfortunately, I have no professional experience looking after children. But everyone needs to start somewhere, right? If you gave me the chance, I would not disappoint you!
However, I used to babysit the 5 year old daughter of a family friend during the holidays.
Growing up, I often had to occupy my younger brother and sister, as my mother was often busy working. I learnt very fast how to stop them arguing over UNO games.

Other Skills:
In the summers I work as a cook in a little cafe. So I am more than happy to cook meals, if you need me to. Having a teenage brother can be a nightmare sometimes, but one advantage is that I have learned to enjoy keeping everything clean and tidy around the house.
My family has a very crazy dog, so I can also look after any of your fluffy friends.
