Letter to the family

My name is Catalina am 29 years old. I was born in Santiago de Chile, a beautiful summer afternoon, I grew up and currently live there. I studied for five years and became a Dietitian. Today I have a job in a hospital where some of my patients are newborns with different diseases. From a very young age, I have liked taking care of children, I enjoy their company and I have a lot of fun spending time with them, I consider that childhood is a very important stage that marks children and their future. I consider myself highly qualified for the job and I am mature enough to accept this new challenge. I would love to have the experience of taking care of children from a culture and a country different from mine and thus learn through them and improve the language, also give part of my culture to them.

I don't have experience with an Aur Pair, but I have gained a lot of experience with babies in my work, also have two godchildren, one of them I see more often because he lives in Chile and the other lives in Sweden. I love spending time with them and discovering how beautiful it is to watch these little ones grow up. Thanks to my work, I know about food and nutrition at each stage of childhood. From time to time I help take care of my godson which gives me an insight into what it is like to take care of children.
