Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Thank you for taking the time to review this profile! We are a family of four that lives in the small, rural town of Boring, which is about 30 minutes east of the city of Portland, Oregon. This is a beautiful, small town that is known for its little farms, nurseries, and tall pine trees. Despite the countryside feel, we are within short driving distance of all services, and other larger towns.

Job Description

The primary expectation is to assist in taking care of the children. Communication is key given our variable schedule. We would expect some assistance with putting away their toys, and helping with their laundry, and doing some household chores that would be expected as a member of the family (cleaning, helping with meals, etc). We are ideally hoping for someone who is a safe driver and can also assist in picking up children from daycare/preschool and other activities.
