Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair, we are a very international family residing in Italy since about a year and a half. However, due to this we do not speak Italian at home / our Italian is rather poor. However we have a Dutch/Bulgarian/English background (Father is Bulgarian, Mother Dutch and the two older children were born in London). We have 3 boys, ages 0, 3 and 5. With the youngest one born end of jan this year. With the mom being responsible for the baby. The children are going to an international school in Monza (daily 8:00 to 17:00). The new arrival will be going to Nursery from May onward (7:30 - 18:00) hence the main activities will involve in support around the logistics of bringing the older children to school, picking them up and where relevant helping with some homework / reading etc or bringing them to after school activities. One night a week babysitting and some support with kids laundry and tidying of their room and common areas. We have been working with Aupairs since January 2019 still when we were living in London, where we had 2 different aupairs and 1 in Italy who left beginning of February after 1 year. We are quite flexible in the setup and arrangements with the aupair as we believe in working together as a team as well as that everyone needs room to enjoy their free time.
