Самостоятельный поиск Au Pair или принимающей семьи может подвергнуть вас опасности. AuPair.com ежедневно проверяет профили пользователей, однако у нас нет возможности проверить всех и каждого. Поэтому мы собрали то, что вам нужно знать, чтобы быть в безопасности и суметь определить обман:

Интернет - это одно из величайших достижений в истории человечества, тем не менее, у глобальной сети есть свои недостатки. Один из них - мы никогда не знаем, кто находится по ту сторону экрана компьютера.

AuPair.com ежедневно проверяет своих пользователей. Тем не менее, мы хотели бы поделиться с вами информацией о том, как мошенники пытаются извлечь выгоду из программы Au Pair. Мы также покажем вам реальные примеры писем с попытками мошенничества, которые некоторые из наших пользователей получили в прошлом.

Как ведут себя мошенники?

Мошенники попросят вас перевести им деньги при первой же возможности. Мошенники не заинтересованы в культурном обмене или в возможности пригласить Au Pair. Они втираются в доверие собеседника и вымогают деньги. 
 
Если кто-то попросит вас оплатить что-либо заранее, игнорируйте это сообщение. Даже если это перевод на ваш счет. Это правило поможет вам избежать 100% попыток мошенничества.

Как опознать мошенников?

У всех мошенников есть типичные характеристики или манера поведения. Если вы окажетесь в одной из ситуаций, перечисленных ниже, будьте осторожны и сразу же  сообщите нам об этом.

1. Контактные данные

Если пользователь указал контактные данные в строках профиля, не предназначенных для этого, как правило, это мошенник. Премиум-пользователи могут обмениваться контактной информацией в сообщениях. Благодаря оплате премиум-членства, мы можем поддерживать безопасность общения на платформе. Стремление обойти систему подвергает пользователей опасности. 

2. Карманные деньги

Сумма карманных денег за предоставленные услуги должна соответствовать стандартам той страны, где проживает семья. Если кто-то обещает золотые горы, это звучит подозрительно и вам следует избегать таких пользователей.

3. Просьбы о помощи

Будь то несчастный случай или страшная болезнь – семье срочно нужна ваша помощь. Какой бы правдивой вам не казалась история, скорее всего,  это мошенничество. Лучше не ввязывайтесь в эту историю и ищите другую семью.

Как защитить себя от мошенников?

Как избежать мошенников? Будьте осторожны и старайтесь всегда руководствоваться здравым смыслом. 

1. Не отправляйте деньги за границу…

...заранее. Даже если это перевод на ваш счет! Вам не нужно ничего оплачивать заранее. Узнайте, кто платит за перелет  и страхование  участников, однако помните, что вы не должны оплачивать любые услуги, которые вам предлагает семья. 

2. Не связывайтесь с Au Pair и семьями за пределами платформы - например, в социальных сетях

Социальные сети, вроде Facebook, не лучшее место для поиска семьи или Au Pair. Онлайн-агентства проверяют профили пользователей, в то время как социальные сети не обязаны это делать. Из нашего опыта, около 80% мошенников встречаются на Facebook. Мы не советуем связываться с семьями или участниками через социальные сети, потому что мы не сможем вас защитить, если вы столкнетесь с мошенниками. 

3. Всегда проводите видео-звонок

Мошенники всегда отказываются от видеоинтервью, потому что оно раскроет их личность. Если пользователь отказывается проводить видеозвонок, он/она ненадежный кандидат для сотрудничества

4. НИКОГДА не подтверждайте свой аккаунт!

Ни на сайте AuPair.com, ни в других местах. AuPair.com, ваш банк или любая другая онлайн платформа никогда не запросит у вас подтверждение аккаунта.

AuPair.com может попросить вас отправить некоторую дополнительную информацию на info@aupair.com в случае если:
  •  на ваш профиль поступила серьезная жалоба от одного из наших пользователей 
  • наша служба безопасности считает, что ваш профиль может быть мошенническим
В любом случае, мы никогда не попросим вас предоставить нам какую-либо информацию, связанную с вашим входом на нашу платформу (например, ваш пароль) или с вашим банковским счетом, и мы всегда будем связываться с вами, используя наш адрес электронной почты: info@aupair.com

Ниже представлены самые распространенные схемы мошенничества (примеры представлены в оригинале, на английском, поскольку это самый распространенный язык для переписки):

1. Туристическое агентство

Если вам предложили помощь с переездом за границу, посмотрите образец сообщения, отправленного мошенниками, ниже:
"Contact the ticket agent and make enquiries about the tickets and working permit document from your country to UK and gets back to me via email don't worry about any expenses that this might cost you I shall refund all expenses incurred by you after you get here when I pick you up from the airport, I just want to be sure if you really want to work for me..."
Как только вы отправите деньги, вы больше не сможете связаться с этим пользователем. Иногда поддельное агентство может связаться с вами и запросить дополнительную оплату, объясняя это тем, что первоначального взноса было недостаточно. Далее представлен еще один пример сообщения, отправленного агентом-мошенником:
“Dear client,

We got your contact from one of our customer Ms  xy who has made a reservation  with us to travel  Friday  the xx of  xx from xx to xx.

Her reservation code with us is PP6J4Y/EA/XX

The flight cost is 480 euros with  XX

Ms xx has asked us to contact you for  payment of the outstanding 480euros.

Once our accountant receives this money, we shall issue an air  ticket  to Ms  xx.

We advise that payment should be made via Western Union since it is faster and easier to send and receive money. This is because we only accept payment via our bank account if payment exceed 2500€ and it will take about a week and more for the payment to mature.”

2. Агентство по недвижимости

У программы Au Pair есть определенные требования к принимающим семьям. Одно из требований – бесплатное проживание за границей в доме семьи. Если семья нарушает требования программы и предлагает проживание в другой квартире в том же районе или в доме со всеми удобствами - это, как правило, мошенничество.  
 
Такие мошенники просят Au Pair сделать небольшой взнос, чтобы доказать, что Au Pair сможет прожить за границей до дня зарплаты или до того, как семья покроет затраты участника. 
 
Семья может сообщить, что осталась всего одна квартира в районе по соседству и есть несколько других кандидатов, которые претендуют на аренду. Мошенники посоветуют Au Pair не медлить и связаться с определенным агентством по недвижимости, которое поможет арендовать ту квартиру. Вот один из примеров такого мошенничества:
“The apartment we have found you is very good and very cheap and I am not sure you can find anything better, also this apartment is next door to us. The estate caretaker confirmed to me that if you do not like the apartment on arrival they will refund all your money but I am very sure you will like the apartment (...)” 

3. Фальшивое Au Pair агентство

Эта схема мошенничества особенно популярна среди фальшивых семей, представляющихся американцами. В США более строгие требования программы, поэтому у мошенников больше возможностей обмануть участников. 
 
Чтобы участвовать в программе Au Pair в США, участникам необходимо связаться с официальным агентством полного цикла, которое уполномочено оказывать помощь в оформлении визы J-1.
 
Многие «американские» семьи-мошенники будут предлагать вам связаться с агентством, которое оформит все документы и поможет устроиться за границей. Проверьте, существует ли это агентство: попросите пользователя ссылку на их сайт и другие доказательства существования агентства. 
 
Не позволяйте никому навязывать вам свои решения – у Au Pair есть право самостоятельно выбрать, через кого оформлять документы, и никто не вправе вмешиваться в процесс принятия решения. 

4. Письмо с извинением о блокировке

Команда AuPair.com регулярно блокирует пользователей, которые оказались мошенниками или могут нанести вред другим пользователям каким-либо другим образом. Когда мы это делаем, мы также рассылаем предупреждения о конкретном пользователе. В прошлом случалось, что эти мошенники копировали дизайн нашей электронной почты и наш адрес электронной почты и рассылали сообщения, в которых говорилось, что AuPair.com ошиблись и разблокировали пользователя. 
 
Пожалуйста, помните, что AuPair.com блокирует аккаунты не просто так, и если у нас есть основания заблокировать пользователя, то мы не станем рассылать электронные сообщения, в которых говорится, что с пользователем все в порядке.

Пожалуйста, игнорируйте подобные сообщения и свяжитесь с нами, если вы все же получили что-то похожее на это:
“Hello [name of the candidate],
The AuPair.com team apologizes for blocking the user [name]. We mistakenly thought that the user is a scammer but we found out that he is not. This is why we have reactivated his account. We guarantee that communicating with this individual is safe.
 
AuPair.com team”

5. Представитель сообщества Au Pair

Этот случай похож на ситуацию с фальшивым агентством. Мошенник скажет, что он представляет сообщество Au Pair. Эти случаи особо популярны с фальшивыми аккаунтами британских семей, т.к. участникам Au Pair из Европейского союза не нужна виза для поездки в Великобританию.  
 
Такие сообщества могут отправить Au Pair несколько документов, чтобы доказать, что сообщество существует, и попросить Au Pair заплатить взнос. 
 
Письмо может выглядеть приблизительно так:
“Dear [name of the candidate],

Sequel to lot of Fake Families around the world,  AuPair.com Screening of Families Profiles has begun. 

You are advised and requested to stop all proceedings/procedures with every other Family and as such AuPair.com Support team Has assigned Billy Phash family as your host family in UK. they have been screened and found eligible to host you as their family Au pair.

Name: [name of the family].
Email: [r-mail of the family]

Proceed to email them immediately, We have also given them your details. 
Congratulations on your Au Pair application.”

6. Идеальный/ая Au Pair

Английский язык - один из самых распространенных языков в мире. Многие семьи хотят нанять Au Pair, являющихся носителями английского языка.
 
Многие мошенники представляются британцами, американцами, австралийцами или ирландцами, чтобы участвовать в программе Au Pair. Такие профили сложно распознать. Они легко попадутся, если будут сами писать письма, поэтому они используют заготовки писем на английском языке. Вот один из примеров:
“Thanks for your mail, I am 23 years old British. English is my first language but I also speak French too (my current Au pair family is polish). I have been an Au pair for four years now in four countries. My maximum Au pair in a home has been one year in Scotland I have worked for the Nathalie Hawn family (Scotland) I have also worked for Isabella Reinaldo family(Portugal) Before leaving for Yaounde, Republic of Cameroon where I now work with the Technical assistant of SNV, a Dutch NGO present all over the world. My current family is polish and I am leaving them because my contract has ended. I have been with them for one year, on a good salary, with lovely kids. (...)”
 
Как правило, такие участники будут говорить, что вы – идеальная семья, но, к сожалению, у них недостаточно денег на билет, страховку или другие расходы. Их семья не может никак помочь, поэтому они попросят вас перевести деньги, которые вы сможете позже вычесть из их зарплаты: 
“Thanks  for your mail.I understand your fears and worries. I don't expect that you pay for my flight ticket.I have been an Au pair for a couple of years and know the rules.If it were not for the expensive flights, I would have bought the ticket by now. I had budgeted for flight but never knew they shall be this expensive.If only I had not been saving for school in an irrevocable account from which I can only withdraw in Sept 2016, I would have withdrawn some money towards the cost of this ticket”

7. Au Pair застрял/а в аэропорту?

Это случай периодически служит продолжением ситуации, описанной в предыдущем пункте, – идеальный Au Pair с отличными рекомендациями и большим опытом застрял в аэропорту другой страны. Случилось неожиданное происшествие и Au Pair не может покинуть страну. Билет не действителен и нужно срочно забронировать новый билет.
 
После того, как вы отправите деньги, вы больше не услышите про Au Pair и не увидите ваших денег. Если вы хотите помочь участнику с транспортными расходами, решите этот вопрос после прибытия участника в вашу семью, но не раньше.

8. Семья присылает денежные чеки

Семья мошенников может написать вам несколько сообщений и отправить поддельные чеки, чтобы заставить вас поверить, что они заинтересованы пригласить вас к себе в качестве Au Pair. Некоторое время спустя, после того как вы получите "деньги" и договоритесь об условиях проживания, вам поступят ужасающие новости: один из членов семьи (жена или дочь) умерла в автокатастрофе, поэтому ваши услуги больше не нужны. Они попросят вас отправить им назад деньги, поскольку теперь они не могут принять вас. Через некоторое время чек будет отменен этой “семьей”, и вы потеряете вдвое больше, чем получили.   
 
Вот пример того, как это может произойти - одна из жертв мошенничества поделилась своим опытом. Ситуация немного отличается, но механизм тот же:
“I had no money for accommodation and  “the host mother” said she would hold a conversation with her partner and they will send me money to rent accommodation. The mother of the fake Host Family send me money by her partner Paypal account. She wanted to pay the rent for accommodation with them for three months, but after a while I decided that this was unreal and I decided to return all money. She did not want to receive the money back in her partner Paypal account. She told me to go to the local Moneygram office and send her money via Moneygram. 1 month later her partner made chargeback "unauthorized payment" of the money that they sent through Paypal.  I was cheated!”

9. Семья скоро переезжает

Семья мошенников убедит вас, что вы идеальный кандидат для них, ведь скоро они переезжают в ваш город! Из-за новой обстановки и перемен им понадобится Au Pair. Чтобы убедиться, что вы будете работать с ними, они выпишут вам чек, если вы откроете счет в определенном банке.
 
Через некоторое время семья попросит у вас деньги на разные нужды, связанные с вашей работой у них. Как только вы перечислите деньги, предыдущий чек с их стороны будет аннулирован. 

10. “Дополнительное расследование” AuPair.com

AuPair.com ежедневно проверяет своих пользователей. Если мы находим мошенника, мы посылаем предупреждения всем, кто был на связи с этим пользователем. Мы блокируем пользователей, когда у нас есть доказательства, поэтому мы не ошибаемся и никогда не отправляем сообщения, отменяющие наше решение. 
 
Однако мошенники могут отправить вам следующее сообщение от лица AuPair.com:
“This is to inform you that you were recently contacted by aupair.com team about the Family of Lewis Anthony [lewyanthonemailaddress@gmail.com] from United Kingdom which we earlier informed you may be fraud or scammer. We wish to inform you that we have re investigated and have found out that they are a real and genuine family from the documents which we requested from them. You are requested to go ahead and share any personal documents or travel details with the family; we have apologized with them for tarnishing their image on the aupair.com website and to aupair applicants. We hereby confirm them to be genuine. We also request you to report us the family on support@aupair.com if you also find that family is fraud or scammer during anytime of job offer discussion with family. Kind regards, AuPair.com”
 
Если вы получили похожее сообщение - будьте уверены, это попытка мошенничества. AuPair.com никогда не делится e-mail адресами наших пользователей и никогда не отправляет подобные сообщения. Если вы получили такое сообщение, пожалуйста, свяжитесь с нами. 

11. Адвокат

Эта схема похожа на фальшивое агентство Au Pair, но в этом случае с участником Au Pair связывается семейный адвокат. Адвокат предложит вам помощь с оформлением документов, визой и будущим проживанием. Адвокат даже может предложить помощь со справкой о несудимости и медицинской картой без лишней бюрократии. Au Pair только нужно внести финансовый взнос и отсканировать паспорт, удостоверение личности и другие необходимые документы. 
 
Никогда не делайте финансовых взносов и не отправляйте деньги! Прочитайте о программе Au Pair, в ней нет необходимости платить за что-либо заранее. Далее пример мошенничества, который случился с  Au Pair:
“He contacted me via aupair.com, and after some conversations, we agreed that I would travel to UK to work as an au pair in his home. He sent me some form to fulfil ("Visa application", the contract, etc). I did it. Another requirement was to send a copy of a deposit receipt to UK (to proof funds to enter to the UK) in my name. It was only to prove I had the money to "live" there, so I could collect my money once installed in the UK. At first I didn't suspect anything because the deposit was made in my name (It was me the only person that was able to take the money). But as I sent to him a copy of the deposit, and also a copy of my passport he was able to collect my money (I don't know how).”

Подтверждение аккаунта

au pair мошеннники, au pair обманЧто это такое и как это работает? Фишинг - это мошенничество, связанное с подтверждением аккаунта  - одной из распространенных попыток получить конфиденциальную информацию. Например, ваши данные для входа на сайт. 

Если ваш логин и пароль были украдены, мошенники получат доступ к вашему аккаунту и могут связываться с людьми и обманывать их от вашего имени.

Как это работает? 

Мошенники свяжутся с вами с фальшивого аккаунта. Как только они узнают ваш e-mail, они отправят вам запрос о подтверждении вашего аккаунта. Этот запрос будет выглядеть так, будто  его отправил AuPair.com. Там будет подпись AuPair.com и даже e-mail может быть похож на наш. Однако AuPair.com никогда не просит подтверждения аккаунта и не блокирует пользователей без причины! 
"Dear Family / Au Pair

We have noticed that there are some family abandoned accounts on our database and the management has instructed that all abandoned account on our database should be deleted.

Hence, we require that all families on our database should validate there account to avoid account deletion and you have just 24 hours to validate your account. Accounts that are not validated within 24 hours will be deleted.

Kindly enter your email and password on our validation page below to validate your account.

Reply directly to this email for more details and inquiry about account validation.

Что дальше? 

Как только вы введете свой e-mail и пароль на поддельном сайте, мошенники получат ваши данные. Сейчас они могут войти в ваш аккаунт, к которому у них уже есть доступ.
 
Ваш аккаунт, который был подтвержден, будет использован для других целей, т.к. он обошел безопасность системы. Мошенники могут связываться с Au Pair и семьями от вашего имени, втереться в их доверие, заполучить их личную информацию и использовать в одной из схем, описанных выше. 

Что-то еще?

К сожалению, да. Недавно мошенники стали менять пароли в украденных аккаунтах. Они могут требовать деньги за предоставление новых данных для входа в ваш аккаунт. К сожалению, мы лично столкнулись с такими случаями, поэтому мы хотим еще раз отметить:
  • AuPair.com никогда не просит вас подтверждать аккаунт
  • AuPair.com никогда не закроет и не удалит ваш аккаунт по своей инициативе
  • AuPair.com никогда не требует от вас денег

We live in an urban part of New York, so you have the best of both worlds. You have the beauty of the country. You can surround yourself with restaurants, movie theaters, shopping and so much more.
 
You will soon see our family is just like yours. My name is Mr Lahm, 46 years old. My son’s name is Paul, 4 years of age.  I lost his mom in a ghastly accident 2 years ago. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Paul is in 1st Grade. He has grown up so fast. He loves to laugh and play. He is a sweet little boy who likes everyone. Everything is a new and exciting experience for him. It is a great age.
 
I usually work 5 days a week. I could work on Saturdays and Sundays if needs be. I work on a contractual basis with the U.S. Army. I often times get posted to the Army bases across Europe and Americas. So I travel a lot. Although, i am not a soldier. I only help them with the technical installation of some mechanical devices. Paul will be attending his classes Mondays-Fridays. As you can see, you will have plenty of time to yourself the days he is in school. I am offering you 3600 USD monthly. I know this seems crazy and incredible, but my son is my all, and i see no reason why one should not be able to spend this much on one's beloved child. He is my all, and he is the reason why i still live and work. Not many offer this much anyways.
 
Paul and I enjoy going out to dinner and to the pictures once a month. This is our way of spending some quiet time together. We try and make weekend’s family time. We might go to the park, a movie or out to eat. You are always welcome to join us. That will be up to you. We know you will have things you will want to do in your free time and only have two years in The United States to do them all (Only if you would like to extend).
 
Our ideal au pair or nanny is very simple to describe. It is someone who will love and care for the kid as if he is his/her own. We believe in honesty and open communication. Never hesitate to come to us if you need to ask a question or you need our help in some way.
 
Well, I hope these give you an idea of what our family is like and how excited we are for you to be a part of it during your years in The USA. We will do our very best to make you feel like a part of the family!
 
However, if we are to make any progress as regards this offer, you would have to shoulder a half of your visa expenses. Reason being that, in the new decree of the US Immigration, Employer and Foreign Employee have to halve the visa fees for the visa application. This new law was passed as a result of increasing influx of Employment Visa Applications from applicants of different nationalities. This measure is invoked with the objective of being aware of the applicant's financial capability which will determine if they will be able to take care of themselves when they arrive or not, as 50% of the application fees will be refunded (Successful or unsuccessful). Thus, my hands are tied, and therefore not able to pay fully for your application. As such, if you have the willingness to move on, write the consulate which will help with the Employment Visa Application.Write to them to inquire what is required to acquire an Employment Visa to The US. Here is their email address  travel-state.gov@usa.com Write to them making reference to me and my lawyer. My Lawyer and I have a good bond with the consulate, as we have been dealing with them for many years, and never get disappointed by them. By the way, My Lawyer's name is Attorney Easton. I am sure you as well know it is hard to come by a U.S. Employment Visa. So, to make this successful and easier than one would normally encounter, i propose we proceed this way.
 
For the interview, i would fix up a session for it, probably when i am back in the U.S. I am currently here in Italy on a consultation in a US military base here. So, i will let you know when is the right time for it.
