Lia (18 / Ms. ), Irish, Unemployed living in Ireland looking for Au Pair job in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland & United Kingdom for 2-3 Months

Dear host family , my name is Lía ! I am 17 years old and will be 18 as of June 23rd. I am from and live in Cork , Ireland . I attend secondary school in Bruce College Cork and will be doing my leaving certificate in my final year next year and then will hopefully go onto college. I live in the suburbs of my city with my Mom, Geraldine and my older sister, Ali. I also have a little brother who is only 2 and I look after him regularly! Which has helped me to understand and become familiar with what it means to look after younger children. My family and friends would definitely describe me as enthusiastic and energetic and always willing to learn new things. Although it may appear overconfident to say, I would agree and apply those traits to myself. I love meeting new people and would think of myself as talkative and easy to engage with ! I am confident that I posses all the necessary skills to work with you and allow you to earn my trust with your children.The reason why I have applied to become an Au pair is because I think it would be a wonderful opportunity to grow independently and learn new things and because I have always loved the idea of travelling and exploring new places. I would be delighted to have the opportunity of fulfilling this experience and can assure you I am a well dependable and trustworthy person. I also have lots of experience looking after and taking care of children from ages 1 years old and up . I have travelled abroad solitarily , previously to look after young family members , volunteered in a children’s daycare in my home town and have experience with babysitting regularly .
