I'm Paula, 18 years old and I'm graduating from high school in June. In 2021 I discovered traveling and since then I haven't been able to stop booking new flights and discovering new cultures. Through traveling I also found myself. Before I was shy and not particularly brave, but since I learned to love traveling, I have also learned to love myself and have become much more open. Since I want to live abroad later, Au Pair is the perfect opportunity for me to get to know everyday life in another country. I've always enjoyed looking after children because I grew up with little cousins and didn't like anything more. This means I also qualify for the position
The host family should choose me because I don't shy away from anything. My spontaneous nature is particularly advantageous, which is why I can adapt flexibly to a family I don't know. I think any activities, whether with the whole family or just with the children, are great. I am also aware that real family life rarely goes according to plan and it will happen more often that my shift is postponed or extended. Neither case causes me any problems. I quickly become enthusiastic about things, which is why I can refuse children's wishes and thus adapt to the children's needs. Nevertheless, I know where the boundaries should be so that situations cannot escalate.
