Dear Host Family,
My name is Joan, I am 23 years old Ugandan and currently living in Uganda, I speak fluent English and have basic knowledge of German, I graduated from University with Bachelors in Business Administration. My love for children motivates me everyday to pick up a career in child care development and wish to become a child life specialist one day!
Ever since I graduated from university, I have been tutoring a few of my neighbours and brothers kids and taking care of the kids.
I play with them, read them stories, help them with school work, sing, dance, depending on the schedule.
I am a fun loving person with a happy personality, reliable, responsible, dedicated and a creative person. I enjoy singing, dancing, swimming, bike riding, cooking, I like trying out different recipes, children are my inspiration, They bring some type of joy in my heart, taking care of them to me is something I enjoy doing, I also love helping out when I can.

Experience

I love kids, they are my first love! Most of the time am left with my sister's and brother's kids to take care of them when they go to work. Some times I help with my neigh ours kids when they are in holidays to make it purposeful.
I also volunteer here in an NGO that works with children, There are after school programs where I engage with kids, play with them, talk to them, and have some quality time with them. It is always my joy to have such an opportunity where I engage with the kids.
