My mom and I used to take care of my nephews while their parents were at work. I learned how to care for children and how to understand their needs through simple observations. I have always been interested in children that my thesis topic was about children. For 2 years, I worked as a volunteer, teaching children aged between 8 to 10. Two years before my grandfather death, I had the chance to live with him in my parents house taking care of him and feeding him while spending time together, sharing stories and laughing together. I believe, elderly people should be properly taken care of as they lose strentgh, memory, and become more sensitive. And my second grandfather has got alzeimer which makes communication a huge challenge with him as he forgets names and every other details, so I learned to be patient with him everytime I have the chance to talk to him via a phone call and always help him remember as much as he can of our past experience and moments.
