Hello! My name is Sophia and I am from Iowa, U.S. I am a Catholic, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a student, a nanny, an athlete, an entrepreneur, and a leader who is filled with love, self-worth, wanderlust, grit, joy, and so much more. I would love to become a Nanny and an Au Pair first and foremost to have the opportunity to work with children. I aspire to have my own family in the future, but for now, I am content loving someone else's as my own! Children inspire me to see things in a new light, and everything as exciting and adventurous.

I am compassionate and patient, as well as valued for my adaptability, creativity, and interpersonal and organizational skills. In addition, I am trustworthy, reliable, and a positive role model who exhibits behavior and values that align with positive child development. These qualities make me well-suited for a nanny position collectively with my years of experience in childcare from babysitting, teaching in preschools, working at daycares, and voluntarily organizing a youth theater camp. Together with my host family, I will work to create healthy boundaries to establish my role as a Nanny in their family environment. I will seek advice from the children's guardians when need be, and expect them to speak freely with me as well about concerns they have regarding the children. Ideally, a partnership will be formed between me and my host family with the children at the center and me and the children's parental support working to provide the best space for growth and development possible.
