Naomi (19 / Ms. ), Canadian, Student living in Canada looking for Au Pair job in Denmark, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden & United Kingdom for 1-4 Months

My name is Nomi and I am currently 18 years old. Most people think I am in my early 20s as I am kind, empathetic, and grounded as a person. I am interested in working with children and planning on completing my teacher's education. I am more interested in working internationally with children in politically unstable conditions. I love children and have a great deal of respect for who they are as people, yet also know children need firm limits and consistency.

I love to travel and believe as an au pair I can both work with children and have the opportunity to immerse myself in another culture. I am also studying child and youth studies. I am an active, creative and intuitive person.

For the past number of years, I have worked with grade `1 and 2 students at the London Waldorf School as a teacher's aid. I seem to be drawn to the spirited and out-of-the-box students. I find meeting their needs a challenge in respecting their innate temperament while helping them function and learn in the classroom and socially. This summer I worked for 2 months at a sleep-away camp with counselor ages 7-10 years. I found this an enriching and learning experience.

Furthermore, my closest friends are international Israeli, Irish, Croatian, and British. Although I have traveled to USA, Britain and Netherlands, my close relationships have allowed me to experience others cultures. I would like to have more international experiences with working as au pair.
