Letter to the family

Dear host family,

My name is Chloe and I will be 18 years old by the expected time I will Au Pair. I am from the United Kingdom and I am looking to engage in a rich cultural experience during the summer! Although I do not have Au Pair experience, I currently have experience with 4-11-year-olds and believe that combining the two experiences of culture and childcare would be amazing.

I am looking to join a lovely family who are looking for a summer Au Pair.

Experience

I work with Primary (Elementary) aged children from 4-11 every week with children at an after-school club. I run fun, engaging and creative activities to ensure that they do not get bored! Alongside this, I volunteer for a youth club which centres around outdoor activities such as watersports (kayaking, sailing, etc) and practical skills such as navigation. In this, I am responsible for teaching lessons and making sure that even the most boring of topics are exciting for the whole group (ages 9-16).

By the time I will Au Pair, I will have already had over 350 hours of childcare experience this year.

I see becoming an Au Pair abroad as an enriching opportunity for both the host family and the Au Pair to bring their cultures together and make the childrens' summer one to remember!
