My name is Sharon, and I am writing to express my interest in becoming an au pair for your family. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, while also providing support and care to your children.
A little bit about myself: I am 25 years old,a journalism graduate and come from kenya. I have always had a passion for working with children, and I find joy in watching them learn and grow. I am a responsible, reliable, and caring individual with experience in childcare.I live in Mombasa with my mother and I have two older brothers who have their own families Mombasa is an island on the kenyan coast and its known for sandy beaches ,swahili culture ,historical site and delicious food.

I am fluent in English and basic knowledge of French and German language. I am eager to share my language and culture with your family. Additionally, I am more than willing to learn your language and adapt to your family's routines and traditions.

In terms of childcare experience, It started way back at a younger age.this was an inspiration from my mother through taking care of me and my sibling alone.my first-hand experience was through babysitting my small cousins, nephews and nieces ranging from 0-16year. Also I had a wonderful experience being a nanny for my neighbour kids and also volunteering in school and orphanages. I am comfortable with children of all ages and can assist with homework, engage in creative activities, and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.

As an au pair, I am not only here to provide childcare but also to become a part of your family. I am happy to help with light household chores and contribute to the smooth running of your household.

Experience

From a young age ,I have been absolutely captivated by the joys and reward of nurturing, teaching and learning from children. Working as an aupair has always been a dream of mine , and I truly believe that I am perfect fit for this vibrant enriching and important role.

My Passion for this role is fueled by natural ability to connect with children of all ages and background, as well as innate affinity for creating a safe ,loving and stimulating environment for growth and development of children.

My expectations is to be well integrated into my host family as a member and big sister to the children.
✓Dressing and bathing child/children.
✓Preparing & Assisting children´s meals.
✓Taking child to and from Day Care/school or other activities.
✓Monitoring child/children activities.
✓Playing with the children.
✓Cooking and learning different foods.
✓Keeping the children's rooms tidy and clean.
✓Folding the children's clothes and do their laundry
✓Putting the child/children to sleep.
✓Helping the child with personal hygiene (shower,tooth brushing, changing diapers etc.)

✓Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
✓Supervising Homework.
✓Being the companion to listen, advice and good company to every member of the family most especially the kids.
