Sophie (22 / Ms. ), British, Student living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair job in France, Germany, Netherlands & Switzerland for 6-18 Months

Dear host family,

My name is Sophie, and I am 22 years old from Nottingham, England. I am excited about the possibility of being an au pair for your family. I am currently studying Philosophy at university and will graduate in July 2025. I am hoping to work as an au pair for up to 18 months from July 2025.

I love children and have always got along well with them. In fact, I volunteered at a summer school for disadvantaged children in the summers of 2017, 2018, and 2019. I plan to go again this year (2024) as I haven't been able to go since the COVID-19 pandemic due to travel restrictions and the summer school being closed.

Currently, I am volunteering as a tutor, supporting a young GCSE student with mathematics. Through tutoring, I've developed patience, empathy, and effective communication skills, qualities that will be valuable in my role as an au pair. I find great joy in supporting others in their learning journey, and I am eager to extend this passion to your children, whether it's helping them with their homework or exploring new subjects together.

I love outdoor activities, such as cycling, hiking, and running, as well as playing chess and learning languages. Also, I have a passion for experiencing new cultures and learning about different ways of life. These interests will allow me to connect with your family on a deeper level and contribute positively to our time together.
