My name is Kristen and I am a 24 year old teacher from Ontario, Canada. I have only been teaching for a year now but have been lucky enough to work with kids of all ages! I am an avid reader, dog lover, concert goer, and explorer.

I am interested in becoming an au pair as a way to see new parts of the world through an authentic and immersive lens. I have travelled to Europe twice in the past and fell in love both times. However, I felt like a guest. I would love the opportunity to experience new places from the perspective of the local people; fall into routine, become a regular at a coffeeshop, make lasting connections, and enjoy a slower pace of travel.

I would make an ideal au pair for many families due to my experience in youth education. Not only can I enhance your child's summer through inadvertent learning experiences, but I will be able to connect with your child as I have proven time and time again in my classrooms. I am adventurous and fun loving with a natural and holistic approach to childcare, encouraging them to embrace their childish nature and explore the world around them. I am tidy and respectful and would be sure to fall right in to the family's routines and structures.
