Letter to the family
My name is Maria Fernanda, but everyone calls me Fernie. I'm 27 years old and I'm studying to become an Interpreter and translator.
I would like to become an Au Pair in a different country to help you taking care of your kids while I explore your surroundings and culture, I think that's the best way to get to know a different country and culture.
I consider myself as a very centered person, I'm responsible and I like to spend time with kids because they have so much to show us with their huge imagination and of course, I like to show them eveything I can from my own country. Also, I'm a very good cook and everyone will be amazed by the meals that I can make.
I have plenty of experience being an au pair overseas, in the USA and Canada, I was out of Mexico for almost 6 years and I learned a lot of new things
Experience
Then in 2018, I was an Au Pair in Canada, took care of a 17 months old girl and a 6 years old boy, we're still in contact after 5 years and they still remember me!
My last experience as an Au Pair was on October 2019, I lived near San Francisco and took care of 2 girlies, one of them was 3 months old and the other one was 3 years old. They're adorable and still FaceTime me often, sadly because of the pandemic, we had to part ways and I moved to the other side of the country, Washington DC, I also took care of 2 girls, when I arrived (April 2021), the oldest girl was 3years old and the youngest was born in September same year, so we were pretty busy, but it was also a nice experience. My time as an Au Pair in the US finished in July 2022.
This time I want to have a different experience in another continent and really immerse myself with a different culture
