Letter to the family

Hello! I am a first year computer science student at a UK university looking for summer opportunities. I enjoy traveling and learning, and am very eager to try new things (such as being an au pair!). I'm generally very optimistic and silly, and I like to see the beauty in everything. I am American, I moved to the UK in late summer 2023 for university. I hope to learn as much as I can in this lifetime, and I love sharing knowledge- especially helping others :)
I'm looking for summer opportunities, from July to early September. I live in the UK but won't have housing until my term starts- so ideally I'd like to work for the entire summer.

Experience

Should you choose to host me, this would be my first experience as an au pair. I'd like to become an au pair for the opportunity to completely immerse myself in another world, and to exchange knowledge with others. I enjoy academics just as much as outdoor activities, and am glad to assist wherever I'm needed. I love maths, history, environmental sciences, and literature, and have IB certificates in each of these subjects (plus a few more). I have tutoring experience- I peer-tutored and tutored students 5 years younger than me, something I greatly enjoyed. I am the eldest of 6, the youngest being 6 years younger than me, so I have spent most of my life looking after and helping others, it comes quite naturally to me.
