Work abroad in Birgit's family for 9-12 Months starting from Aug 2022 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 11 - 14 years old in Zell am See, Salzburg Austria

Dear Au-Pair,

we are looking for a fun, open-minded, sporty and responsible young person for our 12 year old son. You should be a native Englisch & French speaker (or very fluent) as our 12-year old son, bilingual in German and English, will start to learn French in autumn. At best, you come by Sept/Oct 2022 and stay for at least 9 months.

Our son is smart and funny, he is an avid skier in the winter and passionately loves sailing in the summer. We are a well-travelled, international family (both academics with international careers) living in Zell am See in the Austrian Alps, that’s an international skiing resort in the winter and a hiking/swimming/sailing destination in the summer with lots of international expats living there year around.
The next bigger cities are about 80km (Salzburg) - 150 km (Munich) away and very easy to reach by public transportation.

Your task would be to spend time as a "big sister" with our son and in particular to support his language skills as well as to be with him when both my husband and I are traveling. Limited housework includes preparing (healthy) lunch and dinners when we are away and help with tidying up once in a while.

If you are pro-active, sporty, outgoing, energetic and confident, lively, and self-organized. If you are a confident swimmer (we live right on the shores of beautiful lake Zell), if you speak English and French - this could be your home for a year! A driver’s license is a plus but not a requirement.
