Letter to the family

Hi Host Families! My name is Annisa, but I go by the short of my middle name, Nita. I am 26 years old, and I live in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I would like the opportunity to become an Au Pair, I think my previous experience will be beneficial to your family, as I grew up helping my grandma to look after my cousin, and I taught English to primary school kids for one year.

I am a caring, approachable, warm, cheerful, and hardworking person. I enjoy walking to explore new places, learning about the different cultures, such as languages, meeting new people, cooking, and trying new dishes.

I have a high school diploma, studied social studies. I also studied English Literature in University for a while that leads me to teach English to primary school kids and work as a freelance translator.

Experience

I don't really have any experience as an Au Pair. However, I do have previous experience with kids that will be beneficial to your family as I grew up helping my grandma to look after my cousin when he was 1 - 5. His name is Hilal, he is now 12 and I am still close to him as you can see in some of my pictures on my profile. I enjoyed taking care of him, he is such a sweet and compassionate kid. Besides that, I taught English to primary school kids aged 8 - 9 for about one year.

I would like to become an Au Pair as I love working with kids, besides that I would like to learn and understand them more, so that I would be able to teach English to the kids who have no access to education, hopefully in the future! Moreover, as someone who likes exploring the new cultures, such as learning different languages, being an Au Pair is a great start to experience it.
