Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi there and "moi!" as we say in finnish.
We would like to invite you to Finland to enjoy our beautiful nature and home. Our family consists of mom (Sonja), Dad (Jetro), boys Raino and Aaro 7 and 5 years old and our toddler Ruusu (years old). Our house cat it called Taavi or "David" :). We have lived abroad before, as exchange students in Germany and in Ireland, and two years in Oxford together and love learning about different cultures. We want to ensure our Aupair gets the best experience in Finland and in our culture with joining us to our visits to local nature, activities, sea and take variation of the weather.

Distance to city centre from our home is less than 3 km and 10 mins with a bus which leaves right next to us. Train station and center and airport 10 mins away. Our home is huge (360 m2) so you will have plenty of privacy.

Duration 3 - 12 months. If for a longer stay than 3 months and when applying for a aupair visa, it is a law in Finland, that the aupair must be a first timer as an aupair.

Job Description

We are searching someone who is good in English to continue our sons developing language skills (we have moved back to Finland from Oxford UK few years ago and the boys went to English nursery). We need some help getting the kids ready for school and some easy cleanings tasks around the house too. Our eldest Raino starts school in autumn 2025 and Aaro is in nursery fulltime and Ruusu part-time. Playing with the kids would be in the afternoons. You will have two days off per week.
